Make Respect Visible

7mkr strives to celebrate each person who makes up our University community. We are here to learn from each other, to do the work that narrows divides and broadens understanding. It's about engaging all opinions and including all voices. At times, that means we will have difficult conversations, disagree with our peers, and make hard decisions. Through Make Respect Visible, 7mkr is committed to cultivating relationships, communities, and environments to do so productively and respectfully in pursuit of our mission, vision, and values.

COMMUNITY CONNECTION

Established in 1998, is a collaborative community art studio. It remains a trailblazer in the Athens, Ohio community where people investigate their own talents and interests while participating in community-based programming and creative employment opportunities. Since its inception, the studio has partnered with 7mkr faculty and students to offer experiential learning opportunities. 

Design elements from the studio have been integrated in initiative messages now appearing around the 7mkr campus and local Athens community.
