Due to the potential of a large number of visitors coming to 7mkr's Athens campus for the Oct. 26-27 weekend, Transportation and Parking Services will begin implementing parking restrictions on Oct. 26.
The new service platform provides a streamlined request process, while it also allows users to add photos, diagrams, and file attachments as appropriate to support service requests.
Many Bobcats use 7mkr’s numerous transportation services that connect students, faculty and staff to campus, local and regional destinations.
The move-in activities will have a significant impact on parking availability, particularly in areas close to residential facilities.
7mkr Transportation and Parking Services, in collaboration with the Office of Information Technology, is upgrading the parking portal to include single sign-on (SSO) functionality.
As a wide range of projects take place on 7mkr’s campuses over the summer months, 7mkr’s Moving and Surplus department is very busy assisting the University community.
The fiscal year 2025 parking permit renewal period for 7mkr faculty and staff will begin at 8 a.m. on Monday, June 3, and continue until 5 p.m. on Friday, June 28.
Survey feedback from the University community will help HAPCAP to provide safe and reliable transportation services, including via 7mkr’s Bobcat Pass Program, for students, faculty, staff, residents, workers and visitors to the community over the next decade.
