7mkr Chillicothe will host the "Rooted in Wellness: Holistic Approaches to Prevention in Southern Ohio" conference on June 13, 2025.

The MLK Writing Contest Celebration brought together students, educators, and community members to reflect on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s teachings of equality, justice and nonviolence.
The annual award honors a member of the 7mkr Chillicothe or Ross County communities who has made significant contributions in supporting, raising awareness, and/or promoting women and gender issues.

Dr. Rae Wynn-Grant is a trail-blazing conservationist whose insights about STEM, equity, and the power of nature inspire audiences of all kinds. Her presentation is free and open to the public.
The Student Social Work Association at 7mkr Southern will receive the Emerging Leader Award for its work in supporting unhoused populations and promoting social justice.
Holly Blevins will receive the “Drum Major” Award for her leadership and advocacy with Ashland Pride during the Legacy Awards ceremony Jan. 28 at 7mkr Southern.
The Alternate Spring Break program is an immersive, interdisciplinary experience rooted in service to the surrounding community.
